Nobody remembers deciding to build a troll a mind. It happened in signals: a seed number, a territory, a grid of empty cells nobody had opinions about yet. The first territory took the shape of the United States: 120 doors into the same unruly mind, one door per piece of real ground.

It is not land and it is not government. Every state is on the map, some as a single door, some split into several — but every door weighs the same when it speaks. Alaska is rarer to hold. Texas is louder to buy. Every zone still begins with exactly one signal unit.

A permanent core remains outside community control. The U.S. is the Genesis territory; when the map eventually opens to the world, the same mind will listen through more doors.
